April is for acknowledging hardship & embracing hope

Hi friends!

This month we create rituals of closure before opening ourselves up to the hope of new things

Also we talk about:

• The difference between Appreciation & Gratitude - and how getting them confused gets toxic

• Spring emergence & trying new things. Even when it’s hard!

• Lying our asses off and messing with people: A National American Observance For Some Reason(?!)

• Shutting down Autism Bewareness.

• Also, and more importantly: VELOCIRAPTOR BEWARENESS!!!!!

• A fun family holiday where we light shit on fire and picnic on our ancestors graves

• Eid al-Fitr, and why we don’t just say ‘Ramadan’ when referring to the holiday

• Vaisakhi, Armenian Genocide, Mahavir Jayanti, and our embarrassing lack of knowledge or resources on these important observances

• Siblings - will they ever stop bickering? OH MY FREAKING GOSH WHEN?

• Also more probably!

There’s something for everybody in here, is what I’m trying to say.
