Thank you for the highlight! The importance of safe and accessible transportation has been on my mind almost constantly lately, between walking school buses protecting immigrants from ICE in nearby neighborhoods, two pedestrians getting killed by cars in the last month in my city, and my own absurd commute involving biking, a train ride, an unpredictably timed bus ride, and walking. It's a bit intense, but I like to tell people that safe infrastructure shouldn't have to be written in blood. I really believe that we can do better.

I was with my father this morning who was glued to Trump's tv spectacle proclaiming he had achieved "PEACE" in the "Middle East." I had to bite my tongue rather than engage on the topic bc I did not have the energy.

It was great to receive this toolkit in my mailbox. My dad spent his career in public transportation, and I think he would find this toolkit very meaningful and useful. Today, with this toolkit, you inadvertently reminded me to meet the people I love where they are. I am looking forward to sharing this with my father. Thank you!

I’m heading to my first lobby day at the capital next week and public transit funding is on our agenda. I know these are meant to engage children, BUT THEY ARE GORGEOUS. I’m planning to take them on the bus to share with my lobby buddies. Thank you for what you do!

This is such a good reminder that are kids are really good at telling us what they will be interested in (And, by extension, help us see things we didn't notice before). Also, my oldest is obsessed with tiny books and zines - I'm looking forward to looking through the neighborhood guide with her!
