December is for Raising Raising Radically Generous Kiddos
Don't try to do it all! Pick one topic and build upon what you learned each year.
Hey friends!
You, my friends, are a gift.
I want to take a moment and thank you for the hard work you’ve done raising kind and courageous kiddos this year.
For those of you muddling through each day – wearing the same pajamas you put on back in March 2020, I hope you’ve not just found ways to survive this pandemic, but carved out new paths to courage and kindness.
Beyond just survival – I’m hoping you’ll find pockets of genuine joy.
As always, I super-duper appreciate you, your tenacious curiosity, and your push for inclusion and justice <3
Starting with just one book could change the world.
Grab a curious kiddo and choose your adventure!

Grab your butts, everybody - it’s time to rebel against business as usual,
Join our 6-week virtual collective, where we’ll gather with kyriarchy-smashing caregivers navigating the everyday challenges of fighting for justice while helping kids melting down over homework.
This is our opportunity to embrace the slow, deep, winter work of retreating and recovering - without shutting ourselves off from the outside world entirely.
Enrollment starts next week - join the waitlist for first dibs (only 4 spots left!)
Coming up next…
I’ll be back next week with more deets about the Winter Incubator. And then again later in December with some new Quick Actions, with help from our Quick Action Coordinator, Shannon BS, author of Growing Sustainable Together (Bookshop affiliate link).
Whether you gather with your family to observe Indigenous Day of Mourning, or will just stay home for the long weekend to catch up on cleaning and the kids’ homework drama - I hope you have a restful week surrounded by folks who support you.
With you,
Ashia
PS: I’m toying with the idea of giving new members a free year of membership to the Luminary Braintrust when you join the Winter Incubator - hit reply and let me know what you think.
PPS: Thanks to the 14 (that’s more than last month!) paid subscribers who support my work here, with a grateful welcome to our new monthly supporters, Tamara, Jen, Karin & Kathryn - and our Kofi supporter Naomi! Awesome folks like you help me provide these toolkits for targeted families who can’t afford a paywall.
